My Story

As most of you likely know, I’m very involved with the Miss America Organization. However, what you probably don't know is that one of the reasons I love the Miss America Organization so much is because of how it provides young women an opportunity to give back to their communities- including through supporting an organization dear to my heart, the Children's Miracle Network.

CMN is so important to me because of the huge impact it has had on my life. I received care from the Children's Hospital of Richmond, and it was there that I finally got diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum, which allowed me to finally get the care and support I needed.

I truly believe that without the support I received from the Children's Miracle Network and specifically the Children's Hospital of Richmond, I would not be where I am today.

At 11, people thought I wouldn't finish highschool until I was 21. I'm now 22, have a bachelor's degree and am in my second year of Law School. I use my experiences fighting adversity to advocate for students with disabiltiies promote awareness about Autism and other Disabilities.

I have achieved so much than what anyone expected of me, and I accredit it all to the work of the Children's Miracle Network and the amazing staff at the Children's Hospital of Richmond.

And with YOUR help, you can help the Children's Miracle Network provide care to children in positions similar to mine. By supporting the Children's Miracle Network , YOU can give children like me a fighting chance. YOU can make miracles happen.
